The prospective entry of Crimean Research and Production Enterprise Eltavr LLC into the markets of the Republic of Armenia and third countries

On the 14th of September, 2020 took place an online event on the initiative of the Trade Mission of The Russian Federation in Armenia. The event was dedicated to the development of the cooperation of Crimean Research and Production Enterprise Eltavr LLC producing small commercial electric vehicles together with high-tech Free Economic Zone Alliance located in Yerevan and Armenian Export Center.

Participants of negotiations held in videoconferencing were the representative of Trade Mission of The Russian Federation in Armenia Anna Donchenko, Deputy General Director of the Russian enterprise Raifat Saydgaliev, Advisor to the General Director of the company operator of the SEZ Alliance Arsen Sagsyan and Executive Director of the Armenian Export Center Tigran Tadevosyan.

The discussion participants spoke about their opportunities to support the supply of Russian high-tech products to the Armenian market, discussed the prospects for localizing the production of electric vehicles by Research and Production Enterprise Eltavr LLC in the Alliance SEZ and also exchanged views on the further use of capabilities of Armenian Export Center to supply finished products to markets of third countries – Iran and China.

Following the results of videoconferencing, the parties exchanged reciprocal proposals, outlined a plan for further coordinated actions and shared the same opinion on the prospects of developing such a format of cooperative interaction as a mechanism for increasing the presence of Russian business in the Armenian market, localizing the assembly process and using the Republic as a bridgehead for subsequent deliveries of finished products to foreign markets.
